Day Two Finals from Varna World Challenge Cup

The second day of Event Finals at the 2016 Varna World Challenge Cup was contested in the Kongresna Hall in the Palace of Culture and Sports yesterday. Frenchwoman Marine Boyer won the Balance Beam title with Vietnam's PHAN Thi Ha Thanh and Ilaria Kaeslin of Switzerland finishing second and third respectively. Switzerland's Giulia Steingruber added the gold medal on the Floor Exercise with a convincing win over her compatriot Ilaria Kaeslin. Russia's Evgeniia Shelgunova finished third. Ukrainian Igor Radivilov won the Vault title over Zachari Hrimeche of France and Andrey Medvedev of Israel. Ukraine's Oleg Verniaiev won the Parallel Bars over Frenchman Axel Augis by 0.333 points. Russia's Dmitrii Lankin rounded out the top three. Belarussian Andrey Likhovitskiy was the top scorer on the Horizontal Bar to take the title by 0.433 points over Lithuania's Robert Tvorogal and Slovenia's Alen Dimic who tied for second.
